Questions about CURApro.ai
Straight answers on how your data is handled, how estimates are produced and what getting started looks like.
Questions and answers
Does the AI come up with the hours?
No. Hours come from your own past engagements. The AI finds similar work, explains it and drafts text, but it never invents a figure.
What happens if we haven’t done much similar work?
CURApro tells you. When there isn’t enough similar work to go on, the estimate is marked low confidence and shows exactly which engagements it used.
How much history do we need to start?
We start with one practice and one repeatable offering, and size the starting set of completed engagements with you. Linked actual hours make the ranges more useful.
Our estimate workbooks are all different. Is that a problem?
No. During onboarding we set CURApro up for the formats you use most. Anything it doesn’t recognise is flagged for a person to review rather than guessed at.
Do we need our own Databricks account?
No. CURApro runs on Databricks for you, with each firm’s data kept separate.
Where is our data stored, and can other firms see it?
Your data sits in its own isolated space on Databricks, governed by Unity Catalog. No other firm can see it.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No, not without your written approval.
Can we change the estimate?
Yes. You can set aside engagements you don’t think fit and add adjustments, each shown as its own line. The final estimate is your team’s call.
Does CURApro set prices or rates?
No. CURApro estimates effort. Pricing and rates stay with your team.
Can anything go to a client without review?
No. Every draft needs approval from a named person before it’s final, and CURApro records who approved it and when.
What do the exports look like?
SOW sections export to Word and estimates to Excel, using your firm’s own templates.
